I can not say enough about my experience with The Wishing Room and Wendy in particular. Planning for my October 2010 wedding, all I knew is that I wanted a vintage “bird” look for my stationary that would compliment a flora and fauna theme. After scouring Etsy, I found a beautiful chickadee print on a wedding invitation at The Wishing Room shop and fell in love. While I would have been more than satisfied with the invitation as shown, my fiancé (now husband) surprised me with having “particulars.” Wendy was beyond patient with my fiancé’s requests (change in font, text, and color) and developed an AMAZING wedding invitation suite.
Once we figured out the invitation, I realized I also needed table numbers, escort cards and place cards. Wendy was great in helping me develop a bird watchers paradise! We used a variety of bird prints that wowed my guests and me alike. The quality was impressive and beyond what I expected. On the day of the wedding, I made sure the photographer took pictures of everything. I was so proud of my birdies and they made a lasting impression on everyone… including the photographer. Guests were taking their escort and place cards home with them, and my father asked to use the left over blank cards to use at future parties.
After the wedding I then realized that any old thank you card wouldn’t do, so I contacted Wendy at The Wishing Room again. She designed some beautiful cards featuring again some of my favorite bird prints. I ordered more than needed so that I’d have a long lasting stash of thank you cards that I could use for years to come.
If it wasn’t for Wendy, I honestly don’t think my wedding experience would have been as wonderful as it was. The day was beautiful and largely inspired by my beautiful invitations. I was so proud of everything Wendy produced and would recommend her to anyone looking for classic great quality stationary products. My experience was truly remarkable and I feel so lucky to have found The Wishing Room.
