The Wishing Room Terms and Process

We know how busy you are with your wedding planning, so we try to make things as easy on you as possible. Start by placing your order right here on our web site, and we’ll walk you through each step to make sure your stationery order is correct, looks fantastic, and is on time.

You will place your order on our website, and submit with your 25% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. Once your order and deposit are received, you will be emailed Order Details Sheets. These are easy-to-fill-out PDFs that will collect all of the relevant information from you, such as your wedding colors, and wording details for your invitation and other stationery pieces. Once complete, email back to us.

We receive your Order Details and get to work on your first proof. You will get up to 3 electronic (email) proofs to make corrections to your text and color details. If more than 3 email proofs are required, they are charged at $25.00 each.

Once everything looks good on the electronic proofs, send us an email saying we are ready for a printed proof. This email will serve as a sign-off and approval to go to a printed proof.

Then we get a printed proof out to you (will be sent via USPS except for rush orders) for you to approve not only the wording (spelling, etc.) and details of the stationery, but printing, paper and ink colors as well. If additional printed proofs are required they will be charged at $50.00 each.

We will send you an email with a sign-off sheet when we mail your final printed proof to you. We’ll get your approval on the stationery and your final quantities for each piece. If there are edits to be made at this point, we will make them and send you another electronic proof.

Once everything looks perfect and we get your sign-off form back, we’ll send your final invoice, and get your stationery to the printer. This final invoice must be paid before your stationery will ship.

For errors found after the sign-off form has been submitted, the customer (you) is responsible for any error on their part, and the associated charges concerning that error, which we will review with you (such as needing to reprint an item). The Wishing Room will take responsibility for any error on our part.

Timeline: The typical stationery creation process takes about 4 to 6 weeks. The process can be expedited if necessary. Rush fees may apply, consisting of 15% of your total order.
